Our journey began with a question: why are the very buildings designed to shelter us contributing to environmental degradation and unhealthy living conditions?
Gohemp left conventional practice behind and spent four years immersed in the landscapes and communities of Uttarakhand, learning hemp from cultivation and processing through to construction.
That experience shaped a practice in which architecture, material research and execution are inseparable. The goal is not a single green feature, but a whole building culture that restores relationships between people, place and resources.
